Log Files
InfluentialData follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Like any other website, InfluentialData uses ‘cookies’. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users’ experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information.

Children’s Information
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
InfluentialData does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

Emails from InfluentialData
Sometimes we’ll send you emails about your account, service changes, or new policies. You can’t opt-out of this type of “transactional” email (unless you delete your account). But, you can opt-out of non-administrative emails such as newsletters by using the unsubscribe link contained within each of these emails.
When you interact with an email sent from InfluentialData (such as opening an email or clicking on a particular link in an email), we may receive information about that interaction.
We won’t email you to ask for your password or other account information. If you receive such an email, please forward it to us at info@InfluentialData.com so we can investigate.
Emails from Our Clients
This section applies to the information we process about our Clients’ Contacts as a data controller. Our Service is intended for use by our Clients. As a result, for much of the Personal Information we collect and process about Contacts through the Service, we act as a processor on behalf of our Clients. InfluentialData is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of our Clients, which may differ from those set forth in this privacy policy. Please check with individual Clients about the policies they have in place. For purposes of this section, “you” and “your” refer to Contacts.
A. Information We Collect
The Personal Information that we may collect or receive about you broadly falls into the following categories:
(i) Information we receive about Contacts from our Clients: A Client may provide Personal Information about you to us through the Service. When a Client uploads their Distribution List or integrates the Service with another website or service (for example, when a Client chooses to connect their CRM account with InfluentialData), or when you sign up for a Client’s Distribution List on an InfluentialData or other signup form, the Client may provide us with certain contact information or other Personal Information about you such as your name, email address, address, or telephone number. You may have the opportunity to update some of this information by electing to update or manage your preferences via an email you receive from a Client.
(ii) Information we collect automatically: When you interact with an email campaign that you receive from a Client we may collect information about your device and interaction with an email. We use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect some of this information. Our use of cookies and other tracking technologies is discussed more below.
(iii) Information we collect from other sources: From time to time, we may obtain information about you from third-party sources, such as social media platforms, and third-party data providers.

We may use the Personal Information we collect or receive about you in reliance on our (and where applicable, our Clients’) legitimate interests for the following purposes:
C. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our third-party partners may use various technologies to automatically collect and store certain device and usage information (as discussed above) when you interact with a Client’s email campaign and this may include using cookies and similar tracking technologies, such as pixels and web beacons or if a Client is using our Mobile App, we may collect this information through our SDKs deployed on our Clients mobile device. For example, we use web beacons in the emails we send on behalf of our Clients. When you receive and engage with a Client’s campaign, web beacons track certain behavior such as whether the email sent through the InfluentialData platform was delivered and opened and whether links within the email were clicked. Both web beacons and SDKs allow us to collect information such as your IP address, browser, email client type, and other similar data as further described above. We use this information to measure the performance of our Clients email campaigns and to provide analytics information and enhance the effectiveness of our Service, and for the other purposes described above.

Depending on the country in which you reside, you may have the following data protection rights:
As described above, for much of the Personal Information we collect and process about Contacts through the Service, we act as a processor on behalf of our Clients. In such cases, if you are a Contact and want to exercise any data protection rights that may be available to you under applicable law or have questions or concerns about how your Personal Information is handled by InfluentialData as a processor on behalf of our individual Clients, you should contact the relevant Client that is using the InfluentialData Service, and refer to their separate privacy policies.
If you no longer want to be contacted by one of our Clients through our Service, please unsubscribe directly from that Client’s newsletter or contact the Client directly to update or delete your data. If you contact us directly, we may either forward your request to the relevant Client or provide you with the identity of the Client to enable you to contact them directly.
We respond to all requests we receive from individuals wishing to exercise their data protection rights in accordance with applicable data protection laws. We may ask you to verify your identity in order to help us respond efficiently to your request.
